Vitamin B-Complex is indicated for all patients who require vitamin B-complex supplement. This includes persons on restricted or deficient diets, in patients with malabsorption syndrome and those with long-standing diarrhoea or under intensive treatment with some antibiotics.
Vitamin B-Complex is also recommended for those persons with increased requirements such as during pregnancy and lactation, and for those with increased metabolic rates such as patients with defective utilisation as in liver disease and diabetes mellitus.
Dosage
Adults: 1-2 tablets to be repeated 1-3 times daily or as directed by the physician.

Composition
Each tablet contains: Active ingredients: 2 mg Thiamine mononitrate, 2 mg Riboflavin, 2 mg Pyridoxine hydrochloride3 mg Calcium pantothenate 20 mg Nicotinamide.
Excipients: Cellulose, aerosil, lactose, magnesium stearate, talc, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, FD&C yellow no. 6, and D&C yellow no. 10.
Properties
Vitamin B-Complex is a well balanced preparation that combines the B-complex group of vitamins which are essential for many metabolic processes. They act as parts of enzyme systems that are mainly associated with carbohydrate metabolism and nucleic acid synthesis. Thus, the members of this group of vitamins will directly or indirectly, affect the vitality of every cell of the body.
Healthy people with balanced diets get an adequate supply of vitamin B-complex. However, if the body’s need is not met, cell function will be impaired and Vitamin B-Complex will restore all functions to normal and the lost metabolic balance will be regained.
Precautions
It is advised not to exceed the recommended dosage during pregnancy and lactation.
Side Effects
Vitamin B-Complex contains water-soluble vitamins, which are considered generally safe. It is possible that riboflavin (vitamin B2) may result in slight harmless yellowish discoloration of the urine.
