ACNE-BIOTIC Paint is topical preparation for acne treatment, ACNE-BIOTIC Paint is Erythromycin 4% Zinc acetate 1.2% preparation.

Indications
All forms of acne especially when inflammatory lesions (papules and pustules) predominate.
Properties
ACNE-BIOTIC contains a unique combination of erythromycin and zinc acetate with high efficacy in acne treatment.
Erythromycin 4% penetrates into the ducts of sebaceous glands to inhibit propionibacterium acnes. Staph. aureus and other bacteria involved in the development of acne lesions.
Zinc acetate 1.2% inhibits the development of bacterial resistance to topical antibiotics. Also it may have a direct anti-inflammatory action.
ACNE-BIOTIC, due to its combination of erythromycin and Zn acetate, is therapeutically more effective in acne patients than preparations containing each compound alone. It eradicates both erythromycin sensitive and resistant bacteria in vivo. These active ingredients are dissolved in an alcoholic base with keratolytic properties. It adds more antibacterial effect and dissolves the sebum excessively produced in acne.

Dosage and application
ACNE-BIOTIC paint should be applied ” with cotton pad” twice daily to the affected parts of skin.
