Therapeutic Indications
FEVADOL EXTRA tablets are indicated for the relief of headache, migraine, backache, rheumatic and muscular pains, neuralgia, toothache, sore throats and menstrual pains. It also relieves discomfort and helps reduce fever in cases of cold and influenza.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to Paracetamol and Caffeine.
SPECIAL WARNING & SPECIAL PRECAUTION FOR USE
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Sore throat warning: If sore throat is severe, persists for more than 2 days, is accompanied or followed by fever, headache. rash, nausea or vomiting, consult a doctor promptly.
- This product should not be used with other paracetamol containing products.
- Alcohol increases the risk of liver damage that can occur if an overdose of paracetamol is taken.
- If you have been diagnosed with severe liver or kidney problems, consult your doctor before taking this medication.
- Do not consume excessive amounts of tea or coffee together with FEVADOL EXTRA as this may make you tense & irritable.
- Stop use and ask a doctor if pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days, fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days, redness or swelling is present, or new symptoms occur. These could be signs of a serious condition.
INTERACTION WITH OTHER MEDICAL PRODUCTS
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
Although there is epidemiological evidence of the safety of paracetamol in pregnancy and lactation, medical advice should be sought before using this product.
UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS
When taken as recommended, FEVADOL EXTRA is usually free from side effects. Allergic skin rashes have been reported on rare occasions.
OVERDOSE
In massive overdose exceeding 10 g of paracetamol may cause liver damage. Early symptoms may include pallor, nausea, vomiting, (diaphoresis) and general malaise. Clinical and laboratory evidence of liver damage may not be apparent until 48 to 72 hours past ingestion.
Overdose should be promptly treated by gastric lavage followed by intravenous N-acetylcysteine or methionine without waiting for the results of plasma paracetamol levels.
Additional antidote therapy is normally considered in light of further plasma paracetamol levels and the time elapsed since ingestion.
In all cases of suspected overdose, prompt medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.
