Tussipan Syrup is mucolytic and expectorant, helps to relieve symptoms of respiratory tract inflammation associated with cough.
Composition
Each 100 ml contains: 0.7 gram Dried ivy Leaf Extract.

Dosage and Administration
Tussipan Syrup can be administered without regard to meals
Duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the case, however treatment should last for at least one week even in minor inflammations of the respiratory tract. Treatment with Tussipan Syrup should be maintained for 2 to 3 days after symptoms have subsided, in order to ensure successful therapy.
In case of persistent complaints or the appearance of shortness of breath, fever as well as purulent or bloody expectoration,consult a doctor immediately.

Contraindications
No contraindications for Tussipan syrup as it is a natural product but treatment should be carried out only after consultation with a doctor.
Herbal products are not used for children below six years.
Pregnancy and Lactation
Medicines should generally be taken during pregnancy and lactation only after a doctor consultation.
Drug Interactions
Adverse effects are not liable to occur with the simultaneous ingestion of Tussipan Syrup and other medicines.
Tussipan Syrup can be combined safely with other medicines for example antibiotics.
Side Effects
In rare cases, Tussipan Syrup may have a laxative effect due to its Sorbitol content.
